Role Overview
The Web Developer will play a key role in building and maintaining high-quality digital experiences that reflect craftsmanship and creativity. Working closely with designers and engineers, this role focuses on front-end excellence, from responsive design to performance optimization, while bringing innovative, user-centered ideas to life.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional setup.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Implementation
Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, including building Gutenberg blocks and performing site maintenance.
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using HTML, CSS, SCSS, and Vanilla JS.
Implement A/B testing and front-end optimizations to enhance user experience and conversion performance.
Ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility across all web projects.
Collaboration & Project Execution
Partner with designers and engineers to translate project requirements into functional, visually compelling websites and applications.
Manage multiple concurrent development projects while maintaining quality and timelines.
Suggest improvements to development processes and contribute ideas for design or performance enhancements.
Quality Assurance & Maintenance
Conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards, structure, and consistency across projects.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Contribute to internal tooling by developing and maintaining shared libraries to streamline future development work.
Qualifications
Experience
3–4 years of hands-on front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, Vanilla JS).
Proven background in PHP and WordPress development (custom themes and Gutenberg blocks).
Experience with A/B testing, UI optimization, and responsive design.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Svelte, or Vue (considered a plus).
Comfortable working remotely within cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects independently.
