Location
Fully Remote | 9 AM - 5 PM EST
Role Overview
The Social Media Strategist will transform the studio’s existing content into 5–10 high-quality weekly posts. The role owns social strategy, content calendars, captions, and platform-specific publishing, without producing new content. You will tailor posts for multiple industries and ensure consistent, effective brand presence across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Social Strategy & Planning
Develop and maintain a clear social media strategy for the studio and assigned client accounts aligned with each brand’s goals and positioning.
Build and manage a content calendar planning approximately 5–10 tailored posts per week across platforms.
Define content pillars, themes, and posting cadence to ensure consistent and relevant output.
Content Adaptation & Publishing
Review and select from a large volume of existing studio-produced assets, including video, graphics, and clips.
Adapt assets into platform-ready posts by selecting clips, thumbnails, titles, and angles tailored to each platform.
Write on-brand, platform-appropriate captions aligned with each client’s voice and audience.
Manage platform-specific posting and scheduling across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and others, optimizing formats, aspect ratios, and metadata.
Apply light adjustments such as basic captioning, simple trims, and thumbnail selection or tweaks (no heavy editing).
Platform & Audience Expertise
Apply strong understanding of platform nuances to maximize reach and engagement.
Stay up to date on social media trends, best practices, and features.
Tailor content to multiple industries, including law, finance, healthcare, and creative/podcast brands, while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Track post performance through native platform analytics or client tools.
Identify top-performing content types and provide recommendations to refine strategy.
Report key insights and high-level performance trends to the internal team to inform future content and decisions.
Collaboration & Workflow
Collaborate closely with internal production and account teams to understand upcoming content, campaigns, and client priorities.
Coordinate through tools such as Slack, Monday.com, and Frame.io to align on deliverables and timelines.
Ensure smooth cross–time zone collaboration with U.S.-based teams.
Note: Community management is not a primary responsibility unless requested.
Qualifications
Experience
2–3+ years of experience in social media management, social strategy, or digital marketing.
Strong preference for agency experience managing multiple brands or industries simultaneously.
Proven track record of creating and executing social strategies that improved engagement, reach, or brand visibility.
Skills

Comfortable using basic video and design tools for light edits, captioning, or thumbnail adjustments.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage content calendars and multiple accounts simultaneously.
Confident using collaboration and project management tools such as Slack, Monday.com, and Frame.io.
Strategic, detail-oriented, curious, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced, high-output environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
