  • Monitor shipped features and iterate as needed.

Collaboration & Growth

  • Pair on complex modeling and architectural work.

  • Participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer.

  • Develop domain-driven thinking beyond individual endpoints.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of professional engineering experience, including significant work with Ruby on Rails or similar MVC frameworks.

  • Hands-on experience working within a production Rails application.

  • Experience building transactional systems such as orders, payments, or subscriptions.

  • Experience integrating with APIs and handling webhooks.

  • Experience in telehealth or healthcare environments is a plus.

  • Full-stack capability using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.

  • Experience with Hotwire (Turbo and Stimulus), or willingness to learn.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Fly.io, Solid Queue, PlanetScale, or Grafana is a plus.

  • Clear communication skills and ability to work independently with guidance from a lead engineer.

  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

Opportunity
