Role Overview
The Creative Content Specialist will produce polished, product-centric content that showcases the brand’s plush characters across short-form video and photo formats. This mid-level role requires 3+ years of experience creating high-quality content for consumer brands and focuses exclusively on brand-forward product storytelling.
This role focuses entirely on shooting and editing engaging short-form video and photo content. This is not a UGC / POV role and does not require being on camera. The focus is strictly brand-forward product content.
Key Responsibilities
Content Production
Shoot and edit product-focused videos and photos for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
Create short-form content highlighting character details, textures, packaging, unboxing moments, and lifestyle scenes.
Repurpose footage into multiple formats, including Reels, TikToks, stories, carousels, and thumbnails.
Add simple motion graphics, captions, and transitions to increase engagement.
Content Planning & Collaboration
Translate product notes, themes, and ideas into creative concepts and shot lists.
Maintain a consistent posting cadence aligned with launches and marketing priorities.
Collaborate directly with leadership to refine creative direction and storytelling.
Brand & Quality
Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s playful, art-driven aesthetic.
Organize and manage a library of raw footage and edited assets.
Stay current on trends in toys, collectibles, and social content.
Iteration & Optimization
Review basic performance metrics and recommend improvements.
Proactively pitch new content ideas, styles, or series based on performance.
Qualifications
Experience
3+ years of experience creating content for consumer brands (toys, collectibles, lifestyle, beauty, DTC, etc.).
Strong portfolio demonstrating product-focused content.
Ability to independently manage shoots, including lighting, framing, styling, and setup.
Experience with plush toys, character-driven products, collectibles, or animation-driven brands is a plus.
Highly familiar with US market trends.
Light motion graphics or animation experience is a plus.
Familiarity with e-commerce content workflows is a plus.
Skills
Proficiency with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, or CapCut.
Proficiency with basic design tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, or Canva.
Strong understanding of high-performing Instagram and TikTok content.
Strong English communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
