Role Overview
The Social Media Content Coordinator will oversee the planning, creation, and execution of social media content across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for managing content calendars, posting and scheduling content, optimizing visuals, engaging with online communities, and creating compelling copy that resonates with target audiences while supporting overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Content Planning & Management
Develop, manage, and implement a social media content calendar aligned with brand messaging and business goals
Post and schedule content across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, and Reddit, optimizing timing for engagement
Social Media Optimization & Graphics
Edit and optimize social media visuals using Canva or similar tools
Tailor content for each platform while maintaining a consistent brand voice
Community Engagement & Growth
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels
Foster positive relationships with followers, influencers, and industry leaders
Increase brand visibility through active engagement
Social Media Copy & Strategy
Write engaging and persuasive social media copy for posts, captions, and CTAs
Analyze performance data to identify trends, audience preferences, and insights
Refine content strategies based on performance and engagement metrics
Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader strategies
Provide regular reports on social media performance, engagement, and growth
Qualifications
Experience
2+ years of experience in social media management
Experience supporting both B2B and DTC marketing efforts
Skills
Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools
Strong understanding of Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Reddit, with platform-specific optimization skills
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging social media copy
Experience in community management and audience engagement
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage content calendars and multiple campaigns
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a proactive, creative mindset
Fluency in English with a strong understanding of brand voice and tone
