Job Description

Our client is a consumer brand operating a multi-channel e-commerce business with a strong focus on performance, revenue growth, and operational excellence. They sell through direct-to-consumer and marketplace channels, combining paid media, subscriptions, lifecycle marketing, and partnerships to drive sustainable growth. Their operation requires tight alignment between advertising spend, revenue targets, platform performance, and customer retention.

Fully remote | 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Role Overview

The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing ads, revenue performance, marketplaces, subscriptions, lifecycle marketing, and partner channels while managing key contributors across the e-commerce function. This role owns performance across paid media, platforms, retention, and team execution, ensuring revenue goals are met through disciplined monitoring, optimization, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Ads & Revenue Oversight

  • Manage Google Ads, Meta (Instagram/Facebook) Ads, and Amazon Ads.

  • Align ad spend with revenue targets.

  • Track and optimize KPIs including ROAS, conversions, CPC, CAC, and AOV.

  • Work with the external e-commerce ad agency and review performance on a weekly basis.

  • Monitor and report on overall e-commerce sales performance.

Marketplaces & Subscriptions

  • Manage Shopify, Amazon, and Faire platforms.

  • Conduct weekly monitoring of Shopify, Amazon, and Faire, including:

    • Platform functionality

    • Product listings and content accuracy

    • Pricing, promotions, and inventory visibility

  • Manage and grow subscriptions using Recharge.

  • Improve retention, upsell, and repeat purchase performance.

  • Manage owned-channel retargeting and upsell tools, including Genie, Intently, and Gift Note.

Lifecycle, Social & Partnerships

  • Create campaigns and oversee email marketing in Klaviyo, including segmentation, flows, and campaigns.

  • Oversee social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest, acting as a community manager.

  • Oversee affiliate marketing in collaboration with the affiliate specialist.

Team Management & Reporting

  • Manage the e-commerce support team, including:

    • Website Manager

    • Affiliate Specialist

    • E-commerce Ad Agency

    • Shared Assistant

  • Report on team performance and e-commerce KPIs.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Professional experience working with Shopify, Amazon, and Faire.

  • Background in performance marketing across Google, Meta, and Amazon Ads.

  • Experience managing subscriptions, retention, and lifecycle marketing.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce KPIs and revenue-to-spend alignment.

  • Proficiency with Klaviyo and e-commerce technology stacks.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple channels simultaneously.
